With Battlefield\u2122 6 Early Access Beta<\/strong> dropping on Thursday, August 7<\/strong>, and the Open Beta launching August 9<\/strong>, the time has come to suit up, jump in, and experience what the next generation of Battlefield has to offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This update gives you a behind-the-scenes look at how Battlefield Labs<\/strong> has shaped development so far, the changes being made based on your feedback, and a preview of what lies ahead as we push toward full launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since introducing Battlefield Labs, the development team has been focused on collecting feedback<\/strong>, analyzing player behavior<\/strong>, and testing new gameplay mechanics<\/strong> in real-time. The reception has been strong, and we\u2019re continuing to build on that momentum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In response to community discussion around class systems and weapon balancing, the Open Beta introduces two options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Open Weapon Mode<\/strong>: Full flexibility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Closed Weapon Mode<\/strong>: Class-restricted loadouts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Try both \u2014 each supports full XP progression<\/strong>, and Closed Weapon Conquest is available as a playlist during Beta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
